The honeybee is known throughout the world for pollinating vegetation and producing honey. The honey stored in honeycombs is used to feed the young during cold seasons when vegetation is reduced.

Habitat

These insects often build their nests in tree crevices, but will occasionally build nest in attics and chimneys. Once established, and with a good food source, a colony of Honeybees can survive many years.

Health Risks

Honeybees only sting once and the sting can be painful. Often, the affected area will become red, swollen, and painful to touch.
