When this dust gets wet or damp it will turn back into a dust when it drys. This makes Delta dust ideal for places that become damp or wet at times, like under sinks in kitchens and bathrooms, boiler rooms, etc.
Besides indoor and outdoor applications, it can also be used on ornamental plants. When left undisturbed, Delta Dust kills crawling insects up to eight months. Because it is water-proof, this insecticide dust will not absorb moisture (which destroys other dusts) and it will not clump.
FOR USE IN:
For crack and crevice treatments, apply Delta dust in small amounts using a, bellows-style, hand duster into cracks and crevices.
Pay particular attention to areas where any of the above pests hide or inhabit, such as:
- around baseboards and in closets
- around water and sewer pipes
- doors and windows
- behind and under refrigerators
- cabinets
- sinks
- stoves and other equipment
- electrical outlets
- around electrical and telephone fittings
- under drawers and similar areas
When getting rid of household pests, make delta dust applications in such a manner as to avoid deposits on exposed surfaces or introducing the excess material into the air. Delta dust may also be applied as a void treatment using suitable pest control equipment. Be sure to thoroughly treat:
- false floors
- ceilings
- wall voids
- attics
- crawl spaces.
The amount of dust to be applied will vary with the site but should usually be in the range of 2-3 grams per square yard (or 0.5 lbs per 1000 square feet). Repeat delta dust treatments as necessary to maintain adequate control.
